Laval, March 16, 2022 – Réal Bouclin, Groupe Sélection’s Founding President and CEO, is pleased to announce that François Montigny has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This strategic appointment to Groupe Sélection’s executive leadership team will help the company continue to grow and invest by leaning on its innovative business model.

Most recently, Montigny was the Managing Director & Head of Loan Structuring and Syndication in the Corporate and Investment Banking group at National Bank Financial. He also oversaw the Risk and Portfolio Management Corporate Loans team.

Montigny has an MA in Finance from HEC Montréal and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He specializes in consulting and corporate and acquisition financing. Throughout the course of his career, he has become an expert in risk management by working with public and private companies of all sizes. He has been involved in major transactions totalling several billion dollars, both in Québec and abroad. Montigny further honed his skills and consolidated his strategic role in financing by serving on various capital, operations, financing and risk management committees at the National Bank of Canada.

He will start his new position at Groupe Sélection on March 17, 2022.
