Laval, June 23rd, 2021 – Groupe Sélection, under the leadership of its Founding President Réal Bouclin has during recent weeks mobilized its entire business network, as well as the employees and clients in its complexes to support the cause of children and the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation.

Children’s health is a cause that unites all generations. The importance of health, and its fragile nature has become even more clear during the past year. Many families that visit CHU Sainte-Justine experienced difficult times and challenges. The dedication and commitment of Sainte-Justine’s staff to children’s health has thus been particularly remarkable.

Mr. Bouclin was proud to take on the role of Honorary President of the Cachou Tournament for Sainte-Justine which took place on Monday June 21, 2021, at the Club Laval-sur-le-Lac golf course. The Cachou Tournament is the Foundation’s most important annual fundraising event. Groupe Sélection also held a parallel event last month known as the Grand moitié-moitié Sélection Retraite, which consisted of two raffles in each of its complexes that were offered exclusively to residents, who were thus able to also support the Foundation.

These events raised a record $1,5 million. The funds will be used to help CHU Sainte-Justine maintain its international caliber leadership role in maternal and child health. Groupe Sélection salutes the enormous work done by the Foundation team related to these activities for which Groupe Sélection was a proud partner, and highlights the vital role played by the CHU Sainte-Justine in the lives of children and their families.

Mr. Bouclin also highlighted the exceptional work of the organizing committee of the Cachou Tournament, as well as their support during preparation phase and the day of the event.
